VÍB meeting: John Dizard speaks on the future of the Euro Zone


John Dizard, a columnist for the Financial Times, was a speaker at a meeting today hosted by VÍB, Íslandsbanki´s Wealth Management division. The topic of the meeting was the future of the Euro Zone and its main challenges. Iceland´s largest business activities are with countries within the Euro Zone and therefore the future of Europe and the Euro is one of most important assumption for policy making in Iceland.

John Dizard has an extensive experience of financial markets as an advisor and consultant on distressed securities, emerging market securities and energy finance. He has also been a columnist for major financial publications in the U.S. as well as other countries, such as The New York Post, Forbes, Fortune and Institutional Investor. Since 2001 he has written a weekly column for the Financial Times.
