New branch opened in Höfðabakki


Íslandsbanki has opened a new branch in Höfðabakki where Íslandsbanki´s branch in Gullinbrú, Hraunbæ and Mosfellsbæ have merged to one. At the Höfðabakki branch 23 experienced  Íslandsbanki´s employees welcome Íslandsbanki´s clients.

The aim of the merger is to provide a strong branch in the eastern part of Reykjavik which provides financial solutions services both for individuals and enterprises. The merger is a step to increased effectiveness in the operation of Íslandsbanki which has 19 branches after the mergers.

The branch manager is Ólafur Ólafsson and Karen Rúnarsdóttir will be assistant branch manager.

The merger of three branches into one new one is a step forward with the goal of strengthening and improving our branches. This is a merger to go forward to a better financial service and cost reductions in the long run.”

The new branch can be found on Facebook under the name Íslandsbanki Höfðabakka.
