Euromoney has named Íslandsbanki “Best Bank in Iceland” for the third time in a row
Euromoney has named Íslandsbanki Best Bank in Iceland in 2014 and awarded it with the Awards for Excellence. This is the third time in a row that the magazine has chosen Íslandsbanki for this award. Annually Euromoney awards the best banks in nearly 100 countries.
The magazine considered several factors in its assessment of the Icelandic banks, including earnings from regular operations, cost efficiency and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
Customer satisfaction is the key
Íslandsbanki‘s earnings from regular operations increased by 21% in 2014 year on year at the same time administrative cost was reduced by over 10%. Customer satisfaction measures high which reflects Íslandsbanki vision to be #1 for service and the Bank has ranked first among Icelandic banks in the customer satisfaction index for the last two years.
The Bank has ambitious strategic themes for the next 3-5 year with focus on organic growth, service excellence, channel strategy, cost reduction and social responsibility. Íslandsbanki‘s vision echoes its decision-making and corporate culture.
