Íslandsbanki tops customer satisfaction rankings

06.02.2017
For the fourth year in a row, Íslandsbanki customers are the most satisfied, according to the Icelandic Customer Satisfaction Index. Stjórnvísi, the Federation of Icelandic Industries, and Zenter carry out the measurements. Customers are asked questions based on factors related to their level of satisfaction: image, quality of service, and the impact of satisfaction on their loyalty to the company.

Íslandsbanki’s corporate vision is to be #1 for service, and the Icelandic Customer Satisfaction Index is an important measure of the Bank’s success in that endeavour. The Bank’s ranking on the Icelandic Customer Satisfaction Index comes in the wake of Íslandsbanki’s having been named Iceland’s best bank by Euromoney and The Banker.

Íslandsbanki’s emphasis on providing outstanding service to its customers, based on its core values – professional, positive, and progressive – has yielded excellent results. The Bank has built up first-class customer service and is always looking for ways to improve. Strong emphasis has also been placed on progressive technological solutions, including the Íslandsbanki app, the Kass payment app, electronic credit assessments, the screen sharing function, and the web-based mortgage loan calculation function.

Birna Einarsdóttir, Chief Executive Officer:

“We are enormously proud of having the most satisfied banking customers in Iceland. This is extremely important to us. It is a demanding but rewarding task to meet our customers’ needs by providing outstanding service, whether by giving sound advice and excellent service or by offering progressive tech solutions. We look forward to offering further innovations and doing our job even better.”
