Íslandsbanki advises Ölgerðin on purchase of Grjótháls 7-11


Ölgerðin Egill Skallagrímsson has bought the property at Grjótháls 7-11, where its main operations are located. The seller is Nitur ehf., and Íslandsbanki acted as advisor to Ölgerðin in connection with the transaction.

The premises at Grjótháls 7-11 are about 20,000 m2 in size and are divided into production space, brewery space, warehouse, and offices. The purchase agreement is subject to the approval of the Competition Authority. The purchase price will be paid with shares in the purchasing company and with cash.
